I'm sure this has been asked before but I was wondering if anyone has good tips for keeping on eyes? I like the walleye style heads and powdercoat but the eyes seem to fall off after a day of fishing. I currently just go over them with Sally Hansens hard as nails when I go over my thread...

    Hiding the thread

This maybe a beginner question but I never tie this style and usually like the thread necks. I have some 1/8 ballhead jigs and I want to tie marabou on them so it looks like the leech on a egg, or a salmon style. I can get the thread to be pretty small on them but not invisible. I feel like if...

Quick tying table from old junk

Made a tying table out of a folding tv table. I got the folding table at goodwill for $5. Slapped a couple boards on it I had laying around. Put the screws from the top down. You could use plywood but I had those. Laid some wool fabric down with spray glue then tucked and trimmed the edges and...

Does anyone group tie? In the St Louis Central Illinois area

Does anyone or any group of people here get together to tie at a library or community center? I remember my grandpa used to be a member of a wood carving group where they just sat around and did their thing, told lies and helped out new guys starting out. I wondered if something like that...
