Ive seen on here to tie in 10 or 12 silk threads. On this jig from Red himself, ive counted roughly 100 different pcs, which means he used 50 threads. Right? Just wondering what Im missing here.

Thanks for the replies. Do ya'll put the flash material on as the middle layer or as the last layer? Which orientation of the satin do you prefer, if it matters? Thanks again....my water finally cooling down a bit:D
spread out almost into individual fibers. When the jig is moved, they collapse back to shape, but then spread out again. Is this the action you gurus want? Had thought I might need some kind of dope on them,....but just curious. Thanks for any help or ideas....Lpuller
Wanting to dye a lil wool in a couple of colors. I know Red uses food coloring, but do you dilute the colors of the coloring with water to change shades? Any other tips I need to know of before I start making a mess????????????????Thanks...........
in it. I have been rinsing it in hot tap water then letting it air dry. Is that generally what you woolies do??? Im just now starting to fool with wool so everything Im doing is jsut shooting blind. Thanks for any help. LP
