    new material

    i noticed a new material at michaels , its spikeez silicone cord.  its round and 1.5 mm thick. you get 10yards for under 2bucks with tax.    i tied a craw jig using this as the side legs instead of normal silicone spinnerbait skirt legs.   i like it.  it also may work on smaller flies and...

    cleaning wool

    i was given a whole lot of sheep wool that was sheared  i cut off the very tangled and dirty stuff which  left me with 12 one gallon ziplock bags   what is the best way to clean it?   thanks rich
