    Float tubing LP

Hit Lake Perris this morning for a few hours with friend new to tubing. We got about 17 fish and 12 of those were nice fish. Almost every fish was a Redear except for 3 Bluegill and one of those I caught was an 11 inch female full of eggs. Bigger fish are in 15-18 ft depths. Used LedHed's pink...

    5.55lb Redear Sunfish caught

I just talked to Tom at Angler's Pro Shop in Havasu, Az. and he has confirmed that a 5.55 lb. Redear Sunfish was caught at Lake Havasu Monday April 2, 2011 by Robert Lawler of Havasu while fishing a plastic worm for bass. The fish measured 16.75 inches long and had a girth of 19 inches. The...

    Perris panfish

Fished Lake Perris Tues. with LedHed and though the water is still a little on the cool side, we picked up a few nice Redears and Bluegills here and there. Never did find any good concentrations of fish though. Cold morning turned out to be a nice day. We got a couple nice BGs from the boat...

    13.5 inch Bluegill replica

This reproduction mount was cast from the original mold I made of the old 1995 Lake Perris record Bluegill. The fish was an even 3 lbs and it beat the old lake record by 1 ounce. ( I believe it now stands at 3lbs. 5 oz.) Though the fisherman's mount was painted to look like the live Lake Perris...

    Giant Calif crappie

I caught this 18" fish this morning on one of LedHed's red eye shad maribou jigs at Lake Perris. Fought great on 2 lb line. After photo and measuring, it was released.

    California Bluegill

Lake Perris expert LedHed took my son and I and a couple other great fishermen out for a fun morning of panfishing fun. LedHed's jigs are just killer on the big Bluegills and Redears. We kept 51 fish that averaged about a pound and released several more gravid females. A great day! LedHed...
