    Flasher Porno

For you southern fishermen. This is what makes a Yankee Icefisherman heart do flip flops. Thats a 2/12 foot thick school of crappie beneath my feet. And yes they were hungry.

    Icefishing jigs ( pinmins )

Thought you guys might enjoy a newer generation of my pinmins. Went heavy on EYES as you can see. Also tried adding beads on a few. Thats a standard 1/32 oz jig at top to give idea on size. Have not been able to field test these guys yet but I am pretty sure they will be winners. Have...

    Neutral Buoyant JIgs

Couple years ago ordered something called EZ-EYES and never could find a use for them unti-------l now. Pin Jigs gave me the idea. The head of the jig is about the size of an 1/8 oz leadhead. Since most of you already know that fish often suck in a lure by creating a vaccuum by expelling water...

    Custom Ice Rods

Never could find an ice rod that had everything that I wanted on it. So About 30 years ago I started to build my own. These are more for function than appearance . Cold got me so bad I can't go fishing so next best thing I can talk about it. All rods were built with fly rod tips. Except the blue...

    Daphnia -- Water Fleas

Technically these aren't jigs. What they are is great ice fishing lures and yes they can be used in open water fishing also. I make some with plastic beads and some with metal beads used in fly tying. these are my go to lure throught the ice when the panfish get lockjaw. tipped with either a...

The ones above the ruler in the pic are what I am going to wring out next. Especially if I can you all know who to make a custom jig for me. Would like to see these with a recessed eye. They have an excellent shad profile. The guy I used to get them from has either quit or passed on. The ones...

    OLD DOG LEARNS NEW TRICK

 Was out enjoying a sunny day in the boat yesterday. We tried jigs , vibes and chubbies along with minners and worms. Did not have a hit UNTIL I put a leech on underneath a slip bobber. I had these in mind ( leeches ) for walleye if everything else proved reluctant. I tossed the first...

    Ebay type Auction Forum

While kinda a whiz with computers I really stink at software. So if this idea is absurd feel free to ignore When ebay first started it morphed almost overnight into an internet giant. This was due to the fact that most of the members felt an almost " family " like atmosphere. Ebay right now is...

    Micron spinner baits

Figured I would post a pic in case Rondon wondered what the heck I was doing with his 1/32 oz spinnerbaits. Tried some with rubber crazy legs , of course som with my favorite bunny hair and even one with red squirrel zonker mini strip. Thats a 1/16 oz jig head in the middle to give some idea of...

    McCormick Cajun Seasoned

This is about as simple as it gets. Stick filets in cold water. Remove one at a time shake in bag of McCormick cajun seasoned breading. Drop in hot grease @ 350 -370 degrees and wait for filet to float. When it floats remove from grease and let set on paper towel to soak up excess grease. this...

    Wapping wabbits and other projects

The ones on right are a new style to me I am trying. Take round head jig and flatten slightly. Put on base thread and end up next to jig head.By the way 1/16 oz and under work best so far. Take a zonker strip and fold back on itself slightly longer than shank of hook. Then fold middle of rabbit...

    Pin Mins

Just starting to get ready for ice fishing a little bit. Re-doing my boat to stick steer and am forced to wait on parts. So I had to find something to do. I do use these the smaller ones in open water also. Thats a 1/4 " nut for size reference. The larger ones I am going to try on walleye thru...

    duck fedders and wabbit

Messed around some more today. Here are some of the experimentals going on in my twisted mind. The one that looks like a rainbow of colors. Is an attempt at mimicing a red dace minnow. It still needs refinement thats the top center one. But if the walleye decide they like it who am I to argue.
