Not a big user of scent, but I'll try that with one of these ties and see how it goes. Thanks for the tip.

My take on scent is that scent does not attract the fish, but when the bait's in the fish's mouth, makes them hold onto it for that extra second longer to let the angler set the hook

Great looking bait, definitely a smallie killer. Rain has been crazy here as well, about the only place you can fish is lakes but rivers should start dropping soon. No rain in the forecast the next ten days.

Thanks JJ1. Rain may be abating here too, but only briefly. Thundershower chances persist over the next five days in my area.
