Faceted beads in the tail make this one interesting in my opinion. The clear beads give off quite a bit of reflection under fluorescent and incandescent lights.

  • Caron Glimmer Chenille Yarn - black
  • Card Basics Coated Beading Wire (7 Strand, 0.3mm) - silver
  • Hammered Colorado blade #1 - silver
  • Ball bearing snap swivel #10
  • Bullet Weights Rubber Grip Sinker - 1/8 ounce
  • Faceted beads - red and clear
  • Sinful Colors Professional Nail Enamel - clear nail hardener
  • Loctite Super Glue Gel Control

I agree with Jim, should get some attention from Bass. I also would think Pike wouldn't hesitate to smash that fly. Neat concept for sure.

This was fun to create and, maybe, not so fun to finish tying. That's typical of working with initial ties of newer designs.

I'm finally becoming comfortable with wrapping chenille over what is essentially an egg-shaped sinker.

You're going to keep on till you are going to become more imbalanced than me . If ya ain't already . Thinking outside the box gets people to saying "That boy ain't right " . But then when ya do good work like that it just kinda justifies everything .
