Thanks to Len for his recent post on adding diving lips to jigs. :)

Designed this lure to wiggle and shake its tail. I think the design is somewhat along the lines of a Chatterbait, but without an articulated diving lip. This bait's lip is fixed, glued into place by a low-temp glue gun.

Had a problem keeping the adhesive over the eyes level and had a bit of a powder paint drip on the lure's lip. Just a couple of things to work on the next time I make one of these.

Pup, Nice job. I have thought about trying some of those myself but still developing all the necessary skills.

Thank you for your comments Everyone. :) This lure was fun to design and make. I'm hoping to fish it soon in order to find out if I'll make many more of them. ;)

Another dud. :( This one simply glides. Change the lip angle and tie weighted and unweighted versions if you'd like to experiment with an idea like this. I'll go back to the board on this one because of what I see as its potential.

Hareline Dubbin's Baitfish Emulator looks awesome on retrieve!
