I believe he does that deliberately. It is his way of starting controversity and get what is called "reach" in the age of viral marketing and social media. There are far too many blatantly stupid lies, "oopsies" and the like for my understanding. He always knew how to thrieve on negative and positive attention alike.

Hawnjigs I have no doubt about your good intentions but when you post stuff like this, you are actually doing his job. Trump supporters can read for themselfes.

It has turned into a media circus with each side trying to draw attention to their center stage. Sad, but i no longer believe any news outside the local stuff i read.

Politicians & their journalist sidekicks are like us, they do what they gotta do to survive, and apparently sensational digs at the other side bad guys are now necessary to keep their jobs. God gave us all some measure of rational discernment to analyze and decide. I try to separate actual facts from alternate ones, and pics and documents are generally better than words. I also feel a duty as an American citizen to NOT just fluff off "they're all a bunch of crooks so why bother" and disconnect.

Seems to me the "oopsies" are the product of incompetence rather than willful planning. I believe that Noam Chomsky nailed it when he determined our President was a distraction being tooled by those with quiet agendas. Divide and conquer allowing inflammatory political, economic, racial, pretty much anything possible separation between sides. Hate Trump, Clinton, Obama, and you have lost your ability for rational examination. The masters of deceit will never call attention to themselves - Kochs, Wall St., Russia, Rothschilds - the more powerful they are the more layers of puppets will shield them.

The bottom line question could be "Who stands to gain from a divided citizenry and increasing income inequality?" And how?

No, I'm not returning to political posting on the forum, but hoping these 2 pics MIGHT in some small way help us regain our value of honesty.

That was the plan.

That was not Trumps plan. I've hated the Clinton News Network (CNN) for their liberal bias for the past 30 years. I read Bezos' Washington Post and its just as bad. Fox is biased on the right,so is Breitback and The Hill, but they are not as nasty as the liberal news networks.

GDP is up almost 5% this month. Unemployment is down. I've made my salary many times over in the market the past two years

Say what you want about the man, but I'm not complaining about how he's turned the economy around in the past two years

And unlike my relatives in Germany, I get to keep most of what I earn

:icon14: :icon14:  Also think that he's got all the "professional politicians" scared because he's getting things done in a timely manner. They don't want us to know that things can actually GET DONE if you put some effort to it not like it has been in the past. Oh yeh Hawn, don't forget Soro's on the left either!

Anyone remember how all the " experts " re-acted to Trump's promise of growing the economy at a 4 % rate or better ? They claimed he was living in past and it was a pipe dream. What was it this past quarter ? Lowest unemployment rate  in history. Sorry folks he is doing something right.

Hillary was so confident of victory. She was marketing the influence of the Presidency by contributions made to the Clinton Foundation. If you doubt it look at post elections contributions to Clinton Foundation as to the prior election contributions.

Leftists believe that USA is the biggest root  problem in the world. In no way can I agree with that agenda. Leftist also love socialism. Which is a form of government that has not worked anywhere else in the world. But it is going to work here ? I worked with too many immigrants that fled countries that did have it. They found it mind boggling that any American thought that socialism was the answer to anything.

Trump was not my choice in the primary. He has proved me wrong by his accomplishments.

I too come from a family that fled socialism. But after I met a jewish guy who told me about life in a kibbuz, I believe it works for communities small enough for every person to know each other and apreciate individual effort without individual payment. Same on the country side: Taxes and other contributions here are so high that a skilled worker needs 4-5hours of labour to afford 1 hour of equally skilled labour of another profession. Many folks cut the state out and simply help each other without writing bills. They would never call that "communism", though. If you hand over a countrie`s productive capital to the government however, you will find it is every bit as good at exploiting the workforce and small private ventures as any private corporation could be, if not better.

People over here look at you as if you were retarded or a nazi or something if you don`t instantly join into Trump-bashing. I do not find that okay and very much apreciate a first hand insight s.a. this forum where Trump supporters can speak out without being ridiculed. That does not mean I wouldn`t have my own thoughts about a person who I consider to be smart enough to trigger such action in order to appear as a victim and forge his supporters together. After 10 years in finance, I have such thoughts about almost every person with such accomplishments, "left" or "right".

As a sales person, I am aware that a half thruth can do more harm than a full lie. That being said, when it comes to media I expect different "sides" to show me an assortment of chosen half - to 3/4 truths that allow me to form my own "truth". I find it very irritating that the U.S. public seems to be divided into 2 sides, each of which alleging the other side`s media to spread full lies.

Edit: @hookup: I wrote "the plan", not "Trumps plan" ;)

In America we call that bartering.  Happens all the time

People over here look at you as if you were retarded or a nazi or something if you don`t instantly join into Trump-bashing.

I'm a little sensitive about this since all my relatives in Germany slam me for living here now, but during the Clinton & Obama Administration they all wanted to come to live in America for good.  They can't have it both ways.

Sorry if my sensitivities showed.

edit.  Good news is Hawn did cause people to post LoL

My wife and i had this very discussion just last week. We do agree, it bothers us quite a bit to see how divided Americans can be over certain hot button topics. Some where down the line, it feels like the majority of the population here has adapted an 'all-in' mentality and refuse to see any possibilities from others opinions. To the point where they feel like they will stand up and throw punches or spit lies rather than just listen. I don't get it. Maybe this is only the very small bubble of the Nation that i see, so calling it the majority is probably way off. The members here on this site seem to get along better then the norm, or any other site i have ever been a part of. The division goes beyond politics..... but seems to always be closely related to issues that are politically charged. Race, religion, sexual orientation, insurance policy, taxes, etc. I know..... some of those have to go hand and hand with politics. I just wish more people we be willing to open up and listen rather than jam their fingers in their ears and stick out their tongue.

I've wondered that myself

I'm not sure the majority of the nation (or the world) is that ugly. It's just the ugly ones are loud

I'm always amazed at the ugly one's desire to go to jail to protest their causes

I believe it is a new stile of communication I have noticed. I mean I am sitting here at the other side of the atlantic, minding my own business, and I keep getting to see stuff that is so blatantly stupid that It makes me wonder "why is this even reaching me?" My only conclusion is that it is following a pattern:

On the one hand, I have a core information of halfway reasonable content for my halfway reasonable initial target group. Fair enough. But now I go and "spike" it with content that is so obviously stupid and/or offensive that my oponent "resonance group" can`t help but get all angry and excited about until it is being shared and spread and bounces around in the net like a pinball - it goes viral. A virus doesn`t care if you aprove of it as long as you spread it.

I see this in gun control activists publishing information on the AR15 sporting a "bullit button for double output", in (US-run) German PETA telling a school sited in and named after "Angeln" (1. as in anglo-saxon 2. as in "angling") to rename into "canoe riding" since fishing was so cruel etc. Its an American thing, not limited to Trump, but he has mastered it.

Over here they never show a full speech of him, only the "oopsies". I understand only a supporter would go for the whole story, deal with the initial content which might at least in parts not be so stupid after all and then feel angry at the media for leaving that out. Frankly, the manipulative little insurance guy inside of me admires him for his skills. I find it incredible what he is getting away with. He truly is "a very stable genius" in his own rights.

Trump calls that fake news.  I agree.  I hate the press, but am a total news junkie.  Read the right & the left rags and try to find the truth in the middle

My views don't follow a party.  My views follow what I analyze and believe.  Some call me extreme

As far as guns, I believe everyone should open carry

As far as a women's rights, I believe each woman has to right to choose what she wants to do to her body.  But what kept me careful during my wild days was is if I'm the inseminator, then I don't want to kill my kid

As far as education, public education is great - it's the parents that are the problem

As far as taxes - I believe everyone should pay a flat tax.  10-15% of income MAX

As far as socialism - it sux

As far as socialized medicine - great for preventive, but don't get sick.  Opa died at 62 because he got sick

As far as PETA, meat belongs on the dinner plate next to the mashed potatoes

As far as God - well, that's personal - but we should have the right to believe

As far as Trump - I'm like 60/40.  60 like, 40 WTF? But way better than Crooked Hillary imho

And I'm completely against open borders

Hookup - I have similar views as yours..... as in they tend to split that traditional blue/red line and people will give me a look like 'How could you have beliefs and views on both sides?'  My own parents included.  They have bet all-in on their party and refuse to think otherwise.

I really think most of main stream America hovers around the middle with their beliefs

But the news polarizes some

Trump calls that fake news.  I agree.

Now this is where we clearly disagree.

Fake news is when you hide a bloke with a bunsen burner in a panzer, frie an egg on the armor for the Wochenschau visiting the Afrika Corps and 75 years later the media still visualizes blistering heat with an egg frying on exposed metal surface s.a. tin roofs or cars. That`s what I call "fake news", and I tip my hat to that!.

I once happend to be interviewed by what turned out to be a women-fixated vegan reporter and learned first hand how it feels to be ridiculed by the media. But I still see a thin red line between leaving stuff out in order to make an undesireable impression and deliberately spitting lies for the sole reason of triggering hate reactions and being called a liar. If the left media in the U.S. actually does that, too, then there must be a filter cause such content doesnt make it over here. And I don`t mean that in any ironic or sarcastic way, I can imagine that they leave that out.

In our everyday lives, most, if not all of us would red flag someone after second or third lie.  As of yesterdays fact check, our President is up to 4,229 lies, & I don't understand how anyone can believe a word he says?

4% GDP sounds great, will I get an increase in Social Security bennies to keep up with grocery costs or maybe a discount from the automatic deduction for Medicare ?
