A couple new ties, 8/04/2015

1/16 Pillhead jigs. Pumpkin powder paint head. Olive Wooly Bugger pattern.

1/8 Pillhead jig. Custom Powder paint, White Pearl and Fluorescent Pink, with a custom mix of Pink, Black, and Holographic White glitter tapped on top. Pattern is just like the Wooly Buggers I've been tying lately, but with Pink and White hackle tail, holographic flashabou, Candy Cane chenille, grey saddle hackle, and counter-wrapped with black wire.

I'm hoping to fish the Olive WB jigs here soon. Might have to kidnap myself to do it, though. The Pink Camo ones are prototypes for a friend. She might not even get all three. I've been doing some "sample" patterns for her for a few months now, and she's been showing them around to some of her fishing friends.

Both patterns look great. Olive would make a nice bass pattern and crappie love those pink jigs.

Bucko, the paint formula is 1 part Harbor Freight Black, 1 part Harbor Freight Yellow, and 2 parts Clear.

Some real class there. Excellent ties. I particularly like the symmetry of both lots of ties. It is not easy to tie identical ties every time but yours are perfect.

I managed to get one of the pink ones in the water before I left Oklahoma. Oh man, the action on that jig was amazing! Didn't catch anything, though. The weather wasn't cooperating.....
