AF. They get allot bigger than that also I have caught them up to 4 pounds. They are usually pretty soft in the warmer weather but come winter they are one solid fish. If you decide to try eating one they are a much better eating fish in the winter time once they firm up a bit.

Given two fish of the same weight, my money would be on the bluegill. They pull hard for their size, and the big ones go insane when they realize they're hooked. They turn sideways and shoot for the nearest cover. Turning them on light gear is tough because their broad body offers a lot of resistance.
