Been tinkering with a couple more topwater lures. Took the time to finish them so I could fish with them this weekend. All are hand carved and sanded with exception of the detail work on two of them were done with dremel.

These next two are something I came up with last summer. They are carved from Cedar disks I cut. They have a side to side wobble/slide when retrieved and if you snap the rod tip it pops(kerplunks) and dives a few inches under the surface. The first pic is the first one I made last summer. caught some bass on it right out the gate. Second pic is one I just made. The tail is two #2 aberdeen hooks. I cut eyelet off one and tied onto shaft of the other one. (didnt have any trebles) Tied in some blue hackle and a few wraps of CAT kelly green and other(?) CAT chenille. The tail on first one was a pre-dressed treble from lureparts.com I painted the tip yellow.

I will be giving these a try tonight and tomorrow on my buddys farm pond so I will post pics of any lunkers
