On some colors I just can't get them stopped either. Other paints work fine. My bed is a little different that most. My cups each screw into the base cup. I've found by screwing them in farther or adding more paint to the cup helps eliminate them. Make sure you don't have a leak around the base of your paper. That will also cause volcanos.
