the river I typically fish is flooded with sow bugs so it was about time to start tying some.

Hook: size 10 aberd bend
Head: 1/32 oz ballhead, gold and unpainted
Body: tan and grey dubbing, with rubber backing folded over the dubbing
. and white biots.

Beautiful little jigs. I want to see them hanging out of a trout's mouth!
Hey JS do you fish them under a float or cast without?

Fishing, whats that? wife repeatedly tells me I have OCD. Since I started tying, 2 months ago, I have been fishing a grand total of once. :-/. told myself once my new 732 count fly box is full its back to fishing. I would guess it would hold about 350 1/32 oz jigs.

Float or with out float? I will be doing both. I have tied a mountain of 1/32's for floating. though they are heavy enough to be fished with out in smaller slower water. I have also tied a bunch of 1/16 for casting with out. Crawdad, wolly buggers, leechs, etc. heavy enough for swimming and working the jig in current.
