Jig Swap #33 - Signups Closed.

Its time to start a new swap. For this one lets tie our personal favorites that includes hair / feathers / fur / flash of 3 or more colors. Size 1/8 and larger for any species of fish.

We will try for at least 12 participants + host, but I am happy to keep adding spaces if there is a large interest. Deadline for signups will be September 30th and October 31st for jigs to get to me.

IMO, its your choice of materials, 3 or more colors. At least that is my interpretation. BTW I am Blonde as well

Kdog has the idea your choice of materials, 3 or more colors. For myself I was thinking about tying a perch pattern or maybe a fire tiger - An old fishing buddy of my fathers and tying mentor now long passed used to tie a 1/8 head with 5 colors. Each was perfectly proportioned and separate - maybe Ill do something like that.

Sounds to me like if you put 3 colors on the jig in some way shape or form and at least use a 1/8 oz. or bigger head, you are on the right track. :icon14:

ACAMS - yes, 3 colors for the tail not including head. This could include the body if its something like a couple colors of chenille braided. The picts below are just some examples; our group here has always been surprising when it comes to creativity and design and I am sure we will see more than just my plain examples.

Still time for more to get on board. I couldn't decide on a pattern so ended up tying two: a Bass Fry and something locals call a Skunk (very bait fishy looking). Deadline for sign up is Sept 30 and all of Oct for tying.

I'm sure what I'll be tying for the 'theme' jig, but usually tie two, so not sure what that one will be.

My theme jigs came out so nice, I may do just two of the same. Or one on a lighter head? Who knows?

Hmmmmmmm wonder WTH USPS means "the package is delayed and will not be delivered by the expected delivery date. An updated delivery date will be provided when available. I could have hand delivered faster using shoe leather. October 12, 2015 , 3:03 pm Arrived at Hub VESTAL, NY 13850 hopefully you will see it tomorrow.
