Thanks Andy, BK and Jig Man
PB - As an actual dry fly pattern it floats on the surface, but not sure how it's gonna fall on the jig head, I'm hoping with it being 1/32 that the hackle will slow it down. The feathers will lay back jut as when it's a regular dry fly. They won't be in the way, The only reason they sit like that on a flat table is because of the hackle.
On the glitter it's just regular stuff from the craft stores, fine and extra fine size. Tulip brand, color asst packs, Walmart, JoAnnes brand, Michaels - I posted a pic of them in your other thread, I assumed that you were talking about ProTec's glitter clear - over at Tackle Underground alot of the guys commented on it not being all that great. I take clear powder paint and dump my glitter in it and that's it. I heat my jig head, dip the base coat color, heat it back up and dip in what ever glitter mix I want. I cure them for 25 -30 minutes at 320 degrees.
I've posted this before - go to Target, WalMart - where ever and get a In oven thermometer!!! I got this from the guys at TU - they found that even with the setting at 325 or 350 the actual temp inside could be 25+ degrees higher. Regular ovens are the same way put one in and check.
