Feather-Legged Kreature

This lure has feathered legs. I used four small hackles and gave each one a curly shape with the use of a blunt pocket knife. Next time, I may try using two more hackles to form an additional pair of legs.

Materials:
  • Eagle Claw 249WA-3/0 Weedless Hook.
  • Leather boot lace.
  • Lion Brand Suede Yarn - Coffee.
  • Four brown saddle hackles.
  • Darice Craft Fur - Brown.
  • Dumbbell eyes (1/24-oz).
  • Coats & Clark Machine Embroidery Thread 40-wt. - Chona Brown.

I don't believe I've ever seen a chicken foot worm RD. I'm going to have to Google that one up. :cool:

TF, One more pair of feathers would be my limit. Truthfully, these become tedious to tie after a while.

Made it over to my nearby Tandy Leather Factory store this PM to pick up some new material. Looking forward to developing some new "Old School" craws on black nickel sickles to cast about. ;)
