There´s a salt water guy in Spain that airbrushes, too. I´ve seen his very good looking work fresh in the shop and then again pretty chewn up at the beach, between some critter´s teeth. Wonder if the paint chips easier or if the jigs are so good and durable they keep catching fish forever, no matter what the lump of lead at the nose has to say. Seems to be the latter(he no ingles me no espaniol)
But seriously, why isn´t there more airbrushing? is it less economical or durable than powder paint? it sure looks good!

Was wondering how you got such a sturdy thread seal buildup.
Also, what kind of overflash are you tying in?
Jay Wirth said:RebornTC These jigs are very nice but look a little different from your first posting with the same style head. On these it is clear that your tinsel extends past the length of your hair. Do you find times where you miss fish with short strikes where this extra length tickle the walleye into hitting early?
Jay Wirth said:RebornTC I understand what you are saying on the hair. With your pictures on this thread it looks like the floss or tinsel is longer that the bucktail. I would think that this would cause the short strike. When I tie I try to keep my bucktail at the same length and take care not to have any stray hairs a little to long.
Your jigs do look great.
