I finally tied something up on the heads I got from Ronny....I used his 1/8 minnow head with a #4 hook to tie up these minnows....used winter run blue chenille, with a shiner chenille belly....blue hackle, a little rabbit, and some flash for the tail..and a wedge of red for some accent. Looks...

Tried out my new teardrop mold today..... and I love it!!! these are some awesome heads.... made some in 1/16, 1/8 and 3/16. Gonna call over to Robert at Crazy angler and see if he is open today....I am gonna need to get some more hooks.

Well.... I was told that my crew change was not going to happen this coming week...as planned. I should have known it was April fool's day, as I have played many a joke myself about crew changes not happening. BUT... I got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, after a day of troubles...

I have all of my paints and my little heat gun out on the ship with me, but can't cure them out here. If I painted some, do I have to cure right away, or can I wait a week until I get home to cure them?? I have tied a few without curing, and they seem to be ok, but I want to see if it is worth...

Here's tonights work..... Had another rough day at the office... and tying a few jigs up sure winds the day up nicely. Used some Baby Pink and Blue chenille on a 1/8 oz. Walleye jig head with #2 hook, pink and blue hackle, some blue mallard flank and a little blue flash.

I had a 5 heads left over from a swap, and 4 of another...so I used them up tonight, along with putting some eyes on a few for tomorrow nights entertainment. I have 12 days and a wake up left!!! I am about as ready as I ever have been to get off this boat!!! I sure am ready to go wet a line!!!
