Nice to have a place where every cast catches something,just about.Went back to the 1/16 oz. with a size 4 sickle and tyed a dozen or so up in every color that's been working.I'm going to limit myself to 10" crappie.9" is the limit size,lol.They just taste so good.

The squirrels worked so well yesterday that I had to tie a couple more.I'll try this one out next time and try to get some of them bigger crappies.It's 1/8 oz. firetiger painted head with some squirrel tail and purple beaver chenille.Got some chartruese pearl flash.

Went up to Howard Lake for some perch and other panfish.Needed to try out the squirrel tailed 1/32 oz. jigs that I tied up.It was very chillie but a beautifull day.Got windy and had to take sweatshirts on and off all day.Long johns stayed on though,lol.Stuck to my guns and did'nt keep anything...

I'm having a heck of a time with these micro jigs.I get them looking ok and then when finishing it out, I pull a ittle to hard and the whole works spins around the hook shank and just will never be right again.I'm wondering if it is the thread that I am using or just poor technique ??
