Zonker Tail Buggers

I got the itch to do a woolybugger type jig and decided to do the the old zonker jig with the wooly body. The top jig is a 3/32oz walleye head painted green pumpkin, it has a black barred green and blue rabbit zonker tail, olive antron chenille body with furnace hackle to finish it off. The bottom jig is a 1/8oz walleye head painted shad gray, it has a chinchilla rabbit zonker tail with shad gray chenille for the body and finished off with light brown and cream hackle.

Those will nail them - gray would work great on my river in the fall. Have several in my river box and one of the fishes favorites is a white head & tail using silver tinsel chenille as the body.

Looks nice. Is that a piece of rubber tied on the bottom jig. Maybe my eyes are playing tricks on me.
