yesterdays walleye on hgt

Went out to check out some garage sales and bought 2 nice cast iron pans, on the way back decided to stop and throw a jig in the water for a bit considering it is still spring in Canada temperature was +4 with 30mph wind. $ cast later the wife latched onto a 7# pike, sorry no pic and I caught 1 walleye.View attachment 3

Better than crappie? They must be some kinda good. I've never even seen one myself. Anyway, congrats on the catch.

By the way, the only time Walleye are better is on a Canadian shore, with fried potatoes and beans.

Nice catch,I had a friend that lived in Ontario,man,that weather was some kind of nasty,lol.I lived in Arizona at the time and it was like 110 compared to his -5.

Not sure if they are any better than crappie, but they are very good. Catching them in cold clear water like those were caught in it is possible. Wish I had a mess!

Nice fish,,,Sas...4 degrees in May is crazy !!!!! add about 96 to that here !!!Our winds are about the same though ;)
