Working on different thoughts....Question unknown is spinner on back of hook I used a bead with Crazy Glue. Looking at my slider style there is a small piece of rubber. Will the bead work for this concept. View attachment 4View attachment 5View attachment 6

Nice ties - here's some of the things I think on them

First pic the way you have the swivel tied in no problem

Second pic - Does the propellor spin easily??? How hard would it be go clean any grass or moss if it got in the blade, if it was me I'd take out the bead in front of the propeller

Third pic - Can't tell if that's a bead or a split shot - but if it's there to keep the swivel from coming off the hook?? get rid of it and tie the crane swivel to the shank of the hook well. I think the bead will cause problems while fishing by riding up towards the barb and blocking the fish from getting hooked well.

Fatman...thanks for feedback.
2nd pic spins alright but new concept so I have no RnD. I will try a new jig with just bead on backside
3rd pic is a bead attached to the shank. I was wondering myself if the bead could cause a problem. Tying the crane swivel to the shank will be a trick.
Appreciate the info.

I agree with fatman on these. The top jig is a killer tied jig, nice! I would wonder about how the first bead would interfere and in placing the blade to close to the hook point. The spinner on the last jig may not work well with these wool jigs but the only way to know is time spent fishing with them. Nice work on tying all of them and I am interested to hear how they work for you.

JiggerJohn who developed the Boolie jig likes up to 1/4" of free shank space around the prop for free spinning and ease of removing trapped weeds & other debris. So as one who has experienced that he is absolutely right, I agree your tie might function better without the forward bead up against the head.

Your craftsmanship looks great!

Put these in a fish tank this evening. I think thinner is going to be the way. The fluffy jigs (larger size) puff out. My jigs get almost 1.5" across in the water. Looks like a circle. Smaller thinner style not pictured looks to be better profile of minnow/shad. 1st picture on 1/16oz would be as large as I go. I will post another pic tomorrow was reference to size.

Anybody else working on RnD????

If you tie it in securely on the first angle on the hook shank of the swivel so it's just a bit lower than the main shank I think you should be okay with no tangling problems
