Who Wants to try some Clear

As I mentioned in the other thread Id love to try some Super High gloss,but with 14.00 freight to get few pounds to a central location,Im going to get some from my local supplier Ive dealt with for several years..Its been good for all my mixing needs and would be happy to arrange a group split..


I can buy it by the pound @ 11.85 tax included..

If we can arrange even numbers(by the pound) it would work as follows..

1 # 16 oz.....$ 11.85 + 5.95 shipping to you. $17.80
1/2 # 8 oz....$ 6.00 + 3.70 " " $9.70

Sorry if I wasnt clear Doc,my local is glossy.But not the "supper High gloss" from Columbia (that requires freight) Ive never tried it so I cant say how much better if any it is...

I can pick up local and save the $14.00 freight...Ive been using my clear for 6+ years and it does all I need..

I normally go through about a # a year...

Its packed in a heavy gauge clear plastic bag..Ive shipped many all across the country and havent had any problems yet...

Do they have a decent purple that you know of? Looking for something like this - http://www.jigcraft.com/gallery/2011_03/2011_03_29_jerkinjawsjigs_04.jpg - that is on the bottom side of the head. Hard to tell by their color swatches. Can't seem to get a 'true' purple by mixing what red/blue i have. :-/ Would be willing to split half a pound of purple with someone... or a qtr if there are 3 others.

Also same question as Doc..."Are your curing the jigs that have been PP what ever color and then applying the clear PP after that.

Neither.................Its all done in one step..

Ill mix approx 1/4 tsp of color,to 2 tsps of clear,,,,,add glitter ,,,That will give you approx 8-1 ratio......Add more or less color to your liking.

Heat the head and paint as normal....Cure if you want afterwards...I dont cure and have very seldom loose any paint...
