Whitetail Deer Tails

I own a deer processor in Alabama and would be interested in selling the tails off my animals. We usually butcher around 1000 animals. Just seeing if there is any interest for these.

toadfrog i pm'ed you. Bucko they are natural bone in tails. I just cut them off and freeze them.

That is a lot of tails..... deer tails vary a lot in my experience buying them as well as getting them from fellow hunters. Some have poker straight hair fibers and others kinky in texture. Might help to sort them and label or grade them some how before you freeze. Not sure if it would be beneficial or not as some people are not nearly as picky as others........ but i personally would like to know if i had the option to know. Maybe some who sell jigs would like the choice? Die hard 'fly guys' would like to know as well.

BTW - I moved this to the commerce section since it is purely commerce. Do you tie jigs/flies musicjig1?
