My dad took me, my sister, and my grandpa out to catch some white bass in the East Fork San Jacinto river leading into Lake Houston. We were using White Roadrunners with 3 inch chartreuse curly tail grubs. We caught White Bass, a few largemouth bass, and my sister caught a Gasper goo (freshwater drum) Now i just need a couple roadrunner heads and i'll be in good shape for some tying.

Sister didnt want to touch the fish, so i held them so she could take pictures

White bass are lots of fun. Looks like you had a nice trip. Did some online reading about the area you fished. Interesting.

very cool place to fish. shallow as well. The deepest we saw was around 12 feet. most of the time we were fishing in 4 to 6 ft. I'd love to get back out and do it again soon
