Going against the grain here. I favor the bottom one. On those type heads I prefer a thread body instead of chenille. Nothing wrong with top one just a matter of personal taste. As to which will catch the most fish might be a close race..

Always had good luck in clear water pit ponds with what I call quiet or more natural colors. Black top gray sides white bellies. Chrome or metallic silvers also. That color you got there also ought to do well.

I say take them both to that gravel pit and let the fish tell you which one they like.Either should catch fish.But,like papa said,I never liked the ones that had chenille in the middle like that.But,then again,I never fished them either.

Tie them BOTH on the same line.

My choice would be the top one but more because i like the thicker tail over the hackle tail. Silver tinsel chenille and white (or pearl cactus) get used in equal parts for my jigs - they both will work.

They both look good, I like the white/chart. Don't overlook a black jig when fishing clear waters.
