If you decide to get into it and need to buy a lot, J. Stockard sells whole hides cut into zonkers or crosscut for a little under $15. You can also sometimes find great deals on eBay or at thrift shops in the form of clothing. There's a whole bunch of eBay sellers that sell stuff like scarfs, shawls, ponchos and hats made with rabbit strips woven through a knit backing.

CA only carries the straight zonker's, though a good selection. I got my crosscut zonker's from JStockard. A bit higher & a couple days slower but absolutely the best selection.

Been cutting a bunch from some of the soft tanned pieces I have but I've got to get some more two toned in cross cut. Robert only has the straight zonker strip, haven't seen any cross cuts on his site.
