what size channile?

I am new to tying and i have a couple of ?.... what size chanille do you normally use? and what type of thread do you use to tie with? i am planning on tying 1/8th oz jigs mainly for crappie.
I went to crazy angler and there is a lot of choices!!! mann i could be in trouble

I'm fairly new to this jig tying also... I have been using size 2....higher the number the heavier the chenille. Thread has been 210 and 140. Hope this helps..

Number 2 or medium depends on where you look...Also size 3 works good also

For jigs in the 1/32 to 1/8 go with the #3.
