What setup for small jigs 1/32 and lower

I'm curious as to what type of rig people are using when casting these teeny tiny jigs.

I would assume, an ultra light rod with light test line, and split shots or a casting bubble or are you using fly rods at that point?

1/32 I fish with a spinning rod with 4 lb test but use a fly rod for anything under most of the time if I have room to use the fly rod.

I've started using a weighted float whenever I'm fishing 1/80th oz jigs. A slow twitching retrieve is deadly.

When fishing for trout no float with jigs 1/32 and smaller. Any distance requires a weighted float .
