Here is the boring same old same old, I figured I didn't put anything up for awhile but not do to not tying but because it is the same as what I've done before but I am really happy with the "common craw" pattern I've been doing with the bucktails. The top picture is of two weedless football jigs, both are 1/8oz painted brown, the only difference is the top jig uses a 1/0 heavy wire regular eye hook and heavy weedguard and the bottom jig uses a 2/0 standard wire flat eye hook. These bucktails are a pattern I call common craw and are a mix of natural brown bucktail with short black bucktail tied in over top of the natural. The bottom picture is of 2 weedless ball jigs, both a 1/8oz with the top one being brown and the bottom one being green pumpkin. These are just the normal craw jigs but instead of having the silicone feelers tied in these just have some flash, but that is the way a lot of guys want them including me. I've been doing hair jigs and spinnerbaits pretty much every day now and while I'm not really doing anything new or different I am having a blast as I can't remember so many guys wanting hair jigs at the same time and a lot of the same colors so it will be interesting to get feedback and with any luck this weather will break and the lakes will open up as will the river and a fishing I will go!!
