Ding,ding,ding...We used to call em crappie sticks..we didnt tie any line to the minnow end,just a split ring and a # 4 gold aberdeen hook...
And your right Prowler,Ernest uses them to dispell the notion that crappie might be spooked bu high vis line.If they will bite one of those any line should be fine !
