Weedless Jigs

Hey guys looking for some ideas on making some weedless jigs. I normally tie hackle crappie jigs just looking for some ideas on how to make them weedless. Thanks

I have been experimenting with the wide gape hooks as I have a large supply left over from when I used to use soft plastics. I like to tie and fish with simple flies so that works well.

 I have been experimenting with wide gape weedless hooks as I have a load left over from when I used soft plastic baits. It produces a simple but quite effective jig fly for the perch over here.

If I don't need a bunch I drill a hole at an angle and glue in a piece of leader wire, it's flexible and works well

I'm not worried about weeds, but rocks & ledges.

I cut a slot in the mold with a dremel and add a piece of stainless steel leader material, then bend to fit.
