Weavers knot

Broke the thread in the middle of a tie last night and thought it was ruined then I remembered a weavers knot. It was easy to tie without unwraping much and the tails can be cut off compleatly with out weakening the knot

Got my grandpa's old book of knots and rope tying in the cedar chest . Every now and then I got look in it for something like that . Its so brittle I have to be really careful turning pages . Guess I ougth yo copy it before it's to late .
