That's about 2 tablespoons of chartruese Pro Tec glitter added to my mixture of stuff to make orange. This was long before clearcoat and writing down ratios, lol. All paint,no clear.I'll post up a pic tomorrow in the sunlight.Very cool looking.

Orange has been the top seller for me for the fluke jigs. White 2nd, green 3rd. Pink in the spring, and not many want to buy yellow. Funny, the shop in N.J. I deal with buys a ton of pink. and yellow.

You get over the flounder, they will hit it.

I hope you do well. Hear good stuff about deeper water flounder, they just didn't come into the shallows like other years.

I latched onto something at the inlet last w/e. 0400, so it was pretty dark. Using a 1 oz. Shad head jig with a 4.75" glow squid skirt on it. Casting and letting it float in the outgoing tide while sinking. Most of them also have a stinger hook tied to them, but the one I was using did not. Should have! My rod all but doubled over. Good battle, but still don't know if it's a huge blue, or a striper. Get it up to the rocks, it jumped again.....bye bye hook/jig, hit a rock and back into the water again. Never knew what it was, but it was fun while it lasted lol.

Ya know Salty when I went back and re-read this I thought you wrote 2 teaspoons - but it was 2 tablespoons. That could be the problem I've been adding in glitter at 1/8 of a teaspoon I'll have to pop in some more.

I want to thank everyone for thier comments. This is the last of my set of Gamakatsu hooked jigs that I'm going to take in my personal bag to try exclusively.I was looking for a 1oz. Ultra Minnow with a Gamakatsu hook and could'nt find one.Had to do one up last night with a matching teaser. All of the hook eyes have been cleaned up using a pair of slipring pliars.
