I really enjoy tying these foam bugs . I use to fish them behind a spin bubble back in Indiana for Gills Up on the Bar Bee chain lakes

Like the bug! I live on Little chapman, just down the road from the Barbie chain. I'll have to try some for gills this next year.

would work well on a fly rod for gills in my local farm ponds. Before I became addicted to walleye and crappie, I would buy them by the dozen at a local tackle store and have a ball cleaning BG (culling) out of the farm ponds. Every once in a while, a bass will swallow one whole.
