Nice looking vise LedHed. 
That platform base is really neat.
Appears to have finish similar to the early one I own. Though, this one looks to me like an 'Inex' with its fixed head.
Mine rotates about 270 degrees. A large knob atop the vise head prevents it from fully rotating like a modern 'Medallion' model.

Not sure what's up with the finish to make it chip off and corrode the aluminum. Sure that's the problem Regal had with their contractor who did the finish. I like this base.
