I tied up these 1/8 ounce ultra minnows with crosscut zonker strips. Planning on using them for smallmouth and larger crappie. Think they have a good chance of getting bit?

Yep, and I've never even seen a crappie or smallmouth in real life:D. Shoe, they'd get smashed by anything that swims I reckon. Silver and white one would get bit by about 20 species in the Harbour!

Smallmouth bass like rabbit hair jigs. Those should do quite well.

I like green colors on both moving baits and bottom draggers when fishing for SMB.

Nice Shoe - the smallies should jump all over those!!!!!!!! Are the Zonker strips or Crosscuts better for wrapping around the jig??

I prefer to use crosscuts for palmering. They're easier to handle and I think the results look better. I'm not sure the fish care either way.
