Thanks Pepop and plate.

ML - Thanks much for the feathers!!!!!!!! You'll notice I used 2 on each side in an overlap pattern. Once you pull the fluff off it sure shortens them up, have the piece of bare stem helps as you put a soft loop of thread on then pull the stem to set them in which rolls the barbules flat, then the same for the one on top of it. They were really nice to tie with!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ML...

GOT'M!! Thank you for the "Bonus" too. How is everyone handling the feather's/moth balls? Remove the moth balls and put the bags in the freezer? Just keep the moth balls in the bags? Or have they probably done their job and killed anything that might've been in the feather's? I need some pointer's please.

I've had several discussion with Ron Lucas and he says freezing feathers really doesn't do much as a lot of the bugs survive all winter so what's the freezer really going to do!!!!

Here's an article he did on material prep and cleaning - We think we have money in our materials!!! Ron is into classic Atlantic Salmon flies and a bug in his stuff would be DISASTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check out the pics of his tying ROOM!!!
