I've been busy pourig a bunch of heads the past several days. Seems like every time I pour this much my mind starts wandering... which is dangerous! Well these are the results this time. I kinda combined Led's twin spin he posted a while back and also AF's and Jungle's tailgunners. I was actually able to fit the wire in the mold by using a thin wire hook. However the wires could easily be tied in. I have no idea what they will do in the water. Dont know if the wires would get in the way of a good hookset if a fish was dumb enough to eat them! Thought they looked neat enough to post pics of.

I like them. Run them out to the pool and see how they look in the water. If the blades are spinning you're good to go.

Those are awsome! When you took the pics of the front few, it almost looks like frog legs hanging. I bet a bass out there somewhere will like those jigs.

Sweet!!! You took a tailgunner and turned it into a flying fortress. haha! I am interested to hear how they run also. If they keep from twisting/spinning, i would imagine you could really slow down your retrieve since it has twice the resistance with those blades.

The ties look killer too, i have been using more of the cactus chenilles lately and do like them - espically twisted in with a med chenille.

Thanks yall!

I didnt get a chance to pool test them yet. Will do it in the next couple days.

AF, I Love the large cactus! In fact i ordered several more colors today. And yes its perfect for doin the twist!:P

Hawn I made those out of .02 wire. I connected them at the 90 degree bend and poured them as cold as i could. Did have a good bit of flash to trim. The wires could have just been tied alongside the shank. Just beef it up really well with thread where you want to bend the wire. I should have taken some pics before I tied them.

Those look great. Love the idea of two spinners and look forward to hearing a report on em. I would think they would work well longlining them. Very nice work!

Well I tried it out today in the pool and.... It worked! The blades were spinning freely. On one cast one of the blades flopped up on the hook and got hung. So i bent the wires down a little so the blades were couldnt reach the hook. The bait itself swam great at any speed, no barrel rolls or running sideways. One thing I liked is that the blades didnt pull the nose of the bait down like some belly spinners do. Im sure a bass would eat it and who knows maybe even one hungry crappie! Sorry about the pic, its the best I could do.

That is one fantastic tie. Well done RD.

Looks better to me than a Shannon Twin Spin or a Hildebrandt Nugget. :icon14:

Those are sweeeeet!!!! Gonna have to see if i can improv a few myself. If they don't spin your line, should work killer for both slow retrieve and maybe even long lining.

Showcase material...... again! ;)
