Turkey wing flies

I had a friend save me the feathers off a turkey this year and I received them last week. I didn't know a small bag would hold so many feathers!! Anyway, I got looking at the different feathers. I have worked with tail feather but not the wing feathers. I like the flies that I came up with and believe they will work well in my trout waters. What y'all think.

That'll catch fish. You can use the leading edge of the flight feathers for biot bodies, too!

Thanks guys. I was very surprised at how easy the biots were to work with and also bend easily. That is a #14 hook, yeah I'm getting use to the smaller hooks now. Had to tie some 1/16 jig the other day and they felt like I was working with a 1/4 oz. Had to weigh them to make sure I had the right hooks LOL.

If you put a piece of craft foam under the turkey and trim the collar almost flush you would have a nice floating "beetle" pattern too!

Thanks JJsjigs, I will make some for the box. I like to work a top water fly and will add this one with foam.
