Tube Vise

This tube vise was included with a trade for a standard HMH vise. The only markings are "Patent Pending". I was told it is a proto-type. The table clamp is very interesting - never saw it before.

That c-clamp does look like it was thrown together just for sheer use and not for looks or re-sale.

Gives me an idea how i can fix my 'work' vise to get it to hold to my desk at work. Right now i have to wrench it into a larger table mounted clamp to keep it stable. Will be doing some plundering at work tomorrow. shhhhhhh.

That clamp would chew up my tying desk. Would have to create a platform.

Looks like a well-made vise though. Wish I was up-to-speed with tying tube flies.

Sonny ... I don't beleive there is an end to these vises ... Just when you think you have seen them all .. look again there is another ... Great !
