thoughts on this jig

this is one I did  quick for a picture to post.
head has not been baked and no head cement
watermelon color head and a olive color deer body hair.
don't seam to work bad but should I use a thinner hair
like the artic fox you all talk about or does this look good?

ya got it tied on there good and that's a good start! try some other types of hair too that are more favorable for these small jigs and there are a lot of them, my favorite is sparse tied kiptail which is what they call calfs tail, but squirrel tail, bunny zonkers, fox tail, and on and on, you will find your favorite. good job though.

That'll work. Zonkers and arctic fox are good, kiptail, bear and bison would be good too.
