I mixed and mixed for about two weeks now.I finally got the color combination that makes a very realistic Peanut Bunker immatation.
1. Olive Top
2. Custom mixed silver, overall dipped first.
3. White bottom.
4. Black Shad Dots, black ,lure and jig finish ,done with finishing nail.
Nowthe fun begins.Painted 1/2 dozen yesterday on 1 1/2 oz. Ultra Minnows with an Eagle Claw 6/0 635 hook.I must have finished a bunch of them because I have no more 1/4" eyes left, lol.

Yea,I've had lots of Peanut Bunker and bigger ones in my hand and they look nothing like the lures that we all use.I wanted to get a little closer to the real thing. That Doormat Fluke is waiting for me,lol.

I did'nt write the formula down,I got it in my head computer, lol.I'm waiting on my eyes right now.I'll get them tied up when I get the eyes on,that way I can put them away when completed. They are going to be the same colored bucktail, olive, grey, white. With some Rainbow pearl flash.Sounds good, anyway, lol. Thanks everybody for the compliments,Wait until you see the Striped Mullet.

I found enough eyes to finish up 2 of them. Here's what they look like with eyes.I'll take a couple pics outside tomorrow for a finished product. The light inside on a dark day does no justice to what they really look like.

They look great. Can't wait to see the daylight pics, and one hanging out of a 28" doormat this spring.

If you need anything besides a pogie, something is wrong within the Earths balance. Or that's what paw may say.

I think it depends on what big ball of baitish are swimming through that day,or what they pushed up in the inlet and trapped. They all look sorta the same to me,lol.I don't even know how they came up with differant names they are so close looking.
