There are some net pens on the Columbia River here in Washington where they raise Triploid trout. Sterile monstrous rainbows. When they are being raise, they are fed fish pellets. So, when they are released, the fly fishermen use a fly called the pellet fly. It's nothing more than a few wraps of brown chenille on the hook shank. It's about the size of a pencil eraser and the fish eat them up.
