Had a great time this week fly fishing the Chattooga River here in South Carlina. The caddis flies were what the trout wanted all three days that I fished. The river has a way of taking your flies away from you so each night I would tie enough for the next day. Not sure how many fish was caught but over the three days I know over a 100 was pulled in by my flyrod, it got a very good work out. Caught a few Browns but most of the fish were Rainbows. I did keep a limit of eight trout to grill up for dinner Wed night, they were great! No big fish with most being in the 10'' to 14'' class and even some small fish wanted the flies. You learn a lot about what the fish want while on the river. It was a rewarding time this week spent on the river and hope to go again soon. Here are some pics.
