Fm - waaaay better. Too bad they stopped making the light lines. They said the 5# is as light as they are going

Thnx Hj for the lead - Longfin aint too far. Trying out some izorline XXX co polymar 2lb test. Very good stuff. Mealworm got some from charkbait - way cheaper than BPS.

that's why the site is so great, somebody somewhere has tried something that someone else is looking at. I sure as hell trust the judgement of you guys over some of the "so called experts" reviews out on the web.

Tectan is my favorite mono and the Tectan 5.1 has a smaller diameter than Trilene's 2lb. When I found out Cabela's wasn't going to carry it anymore a couple of years ago I bought every spool they had left in the store. I still have some left although I'm getting low on a couple sizes so I have a couple watcher's on ebay. I'm really impressed with the YO-ZURI soft in 2lb. It's strong and casts really well. I change line every 3-4 trips so I go through quite a bit of line in a year.

I talked to fishusa a few months ago - they said that Tectan wasn't going to make the lite lines anymore.
