I'm still practicing on the palmered jigs. Thanks to the help of some of you, I think it's coming together. I've still got to get some saddle hackle but I did these with neck hackle.

Looks good. Those heads look alot like the ones I'm sending. What size are they? That's about the shape of my 1/16oz. The 1/8oz has a bigger profile.

Looks to me like you got it . They are tied in well with the trimmed ends tucked out of site. Fine job.

Those are 1/8 oz I just got from RonDon. I also got some 1/16 and some with belly spinners. I really like them.
Thanks toadfrog, They would look better with saddle hackle. I watched a few vidios on YouTube about tying wolly buggers and stuff like that and it really helped. Lots of good training aids on YouTube.

I must have missed these somehow. Great looking jigs. These remind me of a jig I used years ago called a Crappie Queen. I think they were made by Lindy. The hot ones at that time were blue and white and only difference was a tiny set of mylar (maybe) wings attached to the top side of the back. Brings back memories. We caught a lot of crappie with them and I've not seen them in stores for years. That's a winner you have there!!
