Hey gang!!! Still kicking, but lots of damage in town and around the whole state. Lot's of folks cut off with all the roads gone. They had 30 state highway bridges closed and 260 state/town roads closed off.

They've been delivering supplies by Guard helicopters from out of state, as our guys are over in Afganistan.

Hope the power is back on full time. Seen that some will be without power until later this week. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone.

We're okay here, but down in town by the Dog River it got wiped pretty bad. They SAY the power is back on in that part of the town but it goes in and out and they fix other parts.

Water is sporatic in that part of town but we've had no probs in the other end - we're up higher, but family comes up every night to take showers. Not a problem the landlord pays the water!!!

Had to chain saw some big branchs for a neighbor but that was it except pick up a bunch of smaller stuff, which was hard cause my dopey dog loves sticks and couldn't understand why she couldn't play with all of them LOL Other than that all good.

Salty don't do plastics, but I've been tempted with all the stuff the guys make!!!

They finally get the power back up in the other end of town and FEMA because some box's had been underwater had the power shut back off till new ones could be brought in. Other problem is local military college and even the HS won't let folks take showers there, and FEMA and RC haven't set up portable showers yet.

Still a long way to go.

I'll pray that fema does a better job there than they did here, but pray harder that they won't be needed for long.
