Like I said, I wore my shirt to the Sow Bug Round-up in Mt. Home, Arkansas Saturday. I wanted to take my camera and take pics of the convention, but was afraid it would be so crowded, I wouldn't have gotten good pics, not including the fear of me dropping my camera. Its a Nikon, you know the one where I can reach out and touch somebody from far away, yep one of those cameras
Anyway, got there and People were everywhere. Over 100 fly tyers, each one tying something different. Many booths to shop from to get materials, boxes, work stations, tools, watch and learn new items. Of course at this point I had wished I brought my camera along. You could sit down and watch tyers tye a fly and many of them would give you the tye after they were done tying it. I was a bandit, made out with 4 tyes. OH...this one guy from Texas was tying with horse hair. The hair is from the mane, well the roach clip part of the mane. That is the piece of mane just behind the ears where an halter band or bridle band sets. Many riders clip off that part of the mane so it doesn't get tangled around the band, never had that problem myself. How cool was that. Now I was really kicking myself for not bring the camera. Had many people ask about the shirt and I think I was a pretty good rep for Jigcraft
Told people what it was and told them to drop a line or 2. :icon14: In all, it was a good day.
